Bike Hire Christchurch

Complimentary Bikes available for guest use – Stay at the Ashleigh Courts for 3 days or longer and you can use our bikes for free. If you are staying with us for 1-2 nights then the charge is a minimal $15 to cover maintainence costs.

We have several modern bikes available for individuals or families to explore the local parks and streets. We supply helmets, bike locks, cycle carry baskets( if desired ) and reflectorised jackets for visibility on the roads.

About The Bikes

We have a Kona Mountain Bike with 24 gears and several Raleigh cycles with handle bar twist grip gears ( 21 gears )

The Raleigh cycles have a lower step through frame as seen in the photo and are suitable for Men and Women to use.

Ashleigh Court Motel is ideally situated for cyclying around the local attractions of Mona Vale homestead, Hagley Park and Riccarton house and the University of Canterbury and grounds. We are only 2 km to the central city through Hagley Park – explore the city on cycle.

Mountain Biking

If you wish to ride off road then we recommend the many cycle tracks to explore at McCleans island. We can lend a cycle rack to fit your car ( if fitted with a tow bar ).
